Golden Cariboo Resources Ltd. (CSE:GCC) (OTC:GCCFF) announced on July 22, 2026, that it has completed five diamond drill holes targeting high-priority structural features adjacent to the Halo zone on its Quesnelle Gold Quartz Mine property in central British Columbia. The company also expanded its upcoming maiden Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) database to include up to 9 historical drill holes alongside its first 30 surface diamond drill holes, following ongoing property-wide data validation.
Drill holes QGQ26-30 through QGQ26-34 have been completed, with core logging and sampling in progress. Assays are being conducted by MSALabs of Prince George on an ongoing basis. Notably, drill hole QGQ26-30, which tests the western contact of the Halo zone, will be included in the MRE, expanding the study.
President and CEO Frank Callaghan stated, “Integrating hole QGQ26-30 into our upcoming maiden Mineral Resource Estimate is a pivotal addition that directly enhances the scale and confidence of our geological model. Property wide data validation allowed us to expand the MRE dataset to thirty of our surface diamond drill holes alongside historical data, while our latest drilling campaign successfully stepped out to test structural contacts and the corridor toward the Main zone. With assays actively progressing at MSALabs, we continue to define the true footprint of this system while maintaining cost-effective, year-round drilling.”

Golden Cariboo’s Quesnelle Gold Quartz Mine property spans 94,899 hectares (234,501 acres) and is bordered by Osisko Development along the Cariboo Gold Project. The property is located along a favourable corridor adjacent to the Spanish and Eureka thrust faults. Historically, over 101 placer gold creeks on the 90-kilometer trend from the Cariboo Hudson mine north to the Quesnelle property have recorded production.
The company is rediscovering the Cariboo Gold Rush through targeted drilling and trenching. The Quesnelle Gold Quartz Mine property is 4 kilometers northeast of Hixon, British Columbia, and includes the Quesnelle Quartz gold-silver deposit discovered in 1865. The geological setting shows strong similarities with the Spanish Mountain gold deposit, located 120 km southeast along the same trend. Spanish Mountain is considered an epizonal orogenic gold deposit, a subclass that includes world-class deposits such as Muruntau in Uzbekistan and Bendigo in Australia.
This expansion of the MRE database and the completion of the latest drilling campaign represent a significant step toward defining the resource potential of the Halo zone and the broader property. For business and technology leaders, the implications are clear: Golden Cariboo is systematically advancing its exploration program, leveraging data validation to enhance confidence in its geological model. The ongoing assays will provide critical data points that could influence the company's valuation and strategic direction. As the mining industry increasingly relies on data-driven decision-making, Golden Cariboo's approach to integrating historical and new drill data underscores the importance of comprehensive data management in resource estimation.
