Dr. Park earned his medical degree through Boston University's accelerated seven-year BA/MD program, completed his residency in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at Tufts Medical Center, where he served as chief resident, and pursued advanced fellowship training in pain management in Manhattan. Treatment options include medical management with oral medications such as baclofen, tizanidine, and diazepam when clinically appropriate, with careful monitoring to balance symptom relief with function and safety. For focal or complex spasticity, the practice offers targeted procedures including botulinum toxin injections (Botox, Dysport, Xeomin, Myobloc), phenol nerve blocks, and diagnostic nerve blocks, often performed using ultrasound and/or electromyography guidance for precision. For severe or widespread spasticity, intrathecal baclofen pump management is available, including pump refills, dose adjustments, and coordination with neurosurgical teams.
