STATE COLLEGE, Pa. — "Nittany Game Week," the Penn State football pregame show featuring former Nittany Lions coaches Tom Bradley and Jay Paterno, and hosted by FOX43 Sports Director Todd Sadowski, is back for its sixth season, now reaching more than 24 million people across eight states. The 2026 season marks a significant expansion as FOX 29 Philadelphia joins the Nittany Game Week Network, and the show will also be seen on Reach TV in 90 U.S. airports, including 48 of the top 50, from JFK to LAX.
The show, which has become a year-round destination for Penn State fans, goes beyond the traditional pregame format. It includes exclusive scouting reports, "Impact Interviews," fan questions, and game-day photo submissions. The program continues through May, covering the entirety of Penn State athletics, not just football.
"We give Nittany Lions fans the kind of insight you can't get anywhere else," said Paterno. "Tom and I bring decades of experience, our guests bring unique perspectives, and with Todd, we're able to preview the game while telling the stories that make Penn State athletics so special, from football in the fall to the entire spectrum of Nittany Lions athletics throughout the year."
The show will air on Fridays and Saturdays, with broadcasts scheduled across Pennsylvania, New York, Ohio, Maryland, Delaware, New Jersey, West Virginia, and Virginia. Key slots include Friday 6:30 p.m. on FOX43 WPMT in York/Harrisburg/Lancaster, PA, and 10 p.m. on DelMarVa Sports Network in Salisbury, MD. Saturday broadcasts start at 6 a.m. on WSEE-TV in Erie, PA, and include 7:30 a.m. on FOX 29 in Philadelphia, 8 a.m. on WNEP2 in Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, and multiple slots on FOX 8 WWCP in Altoona/Johnstown/State College. Additional stations include WYFX in Youngstown, OH, FOX 53 in Pittsburgh, BIG FOX in Elmira, NY, and FOX & NBC 9 in Wheeling, WV.
Episodes and additional content are available online, including the show's YouTube channel and digital platforms, ensuring fans can access the show anytime, anywhere.
The team behind Nittany Game Week brings deep roots in Penn State football and Pennsylvania sports media. Tom Bradley, captain of Penn State's 1978 team, has coached more games for the Nittany Lions than all but Joe Paterno. He was named AP Defensive Coordinator of the Year in 2005 and inducted into the Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame in 2021. Jay Paterno, with over 20 years of college coaching experience including 17 at Penn State, has led top-ranked recruiting classes, coached two Big Ten MVPs, and helped create one of the conference's most explosive offenses. Todd Sadowski has been a standout in Pennsylvania sports media for over two decades, anchoring coverage at FOX43 since 2000 with a focus on Penn State football.
Jay Paterno is also an author and commentator. His latest book, "BLITZED! The All-Out Pressure of College Football's New Era," explores the challenges facing today's college football coaches, from NIL deals to mental health. He regularly shares insights on leadership, resilience, and the changing landscape of athletics.
This expansion underscores the growing demand for in-depth, insider content about Penn State sports. By broadening its reach to more than 24 million people and extending into airports and new markets, Nittany Game Week is positioning itself as a key player in sports media, providing fans with unique perspectives and comprehensive coverage that goes beyond the game day.
