Storagely 3.0.1 Rebuilds Self-Storage Websites for Operator Control and Speed

Storagely, a website platform for self-storage operators, has announced Storagely 3.0.1, a complete rebuild of its platform and the largest release in the company's history. The new version will be publicly demonstrated at the SSA Fall Conference & Trade Show from September 8th to 11th at the Aria Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, at Booth #1233. The announcement reflects broader changes in the self-storage industry, where operators face new constraints and are demanding more agile, customizable digital tools.

The rebuild addresses three core operator requests, according to Austin Simmons, who became CEO in April 2026. "Operators have been telling us the same three things for years," Simmons said. "They want to be more hands-on, not stuck behind a support ticket. They want to launch a new location in days, not weeks. And they want each facility to be able to stand out in its own market. We stopped just adding features and decided it's time to rebuild around those pain points."

Key changes include more control through FLEX, a drag-and-drop editor that lets operators edit any block, swap layouts, and publish new pages in minutes without a developer. ATLAS, a new Location Profile Manager, consolidates details like address, hours, pricing, photos, unit types, and amenities into a single source of truth that automatically updates the website. The ATLAS Google Profile sync allows edits to a Google Business profile to update location details on the website directly. These tools aim to reduce reliance on support tickets and enable facility-level customization.

Faster launches are another benefit: new sites can launch in weeks rather than months, and new locations come online in days rather than weeks. This velocity allows operators to stay agile and make quick decisions. Performance also improves with a modern architecture built exclusively for self-storage, offering faster load times on mobile and desktop, better page speed scores, and infrastructure that scales from a single store to hundreds of locations. The platform retains a one-page checkout with new upgrades, including a merch shop and additional upsell options.

Simmons, previously COO, led the rebuild in partnership with Founder and Executive Chairman Brian Leimone, whose technical vision continues to guide the platform. Leimone expressed confidence in Simmons: "For years I've watched Austin grow from someone I believed in, into the leader Storagely needs today. 3.0.1 begins a new era for the company, and he's the right person to lead it."

For industry leaders, the release underscores a shift toward operator-centric technology that prioritizes autonomy, speed, and differentiation. Self-storage operators can now manage their digital presence more directly, potentially reducing costs and improving competitiveness. The emphasis on rapid deployment and scalability may also lower barriers for expansion. Storagely will demo 3.0.1 at Booth #1233; meetings can be booked in advance at storagely.io/schedule-a-demo.
