Virtuix Inc., the developer of full-body virtual reality systems, is expanding into Europe with the launch of its in-home gaming system Omni One in Germany, the UK, and France. This international expansion follows the company's recent Nasdaq debut and reported revenue growth of 138% year-over-year for the six months ended September 30, 2025.
The European VR gaming market represents significant opportunity, projected to reach $30.4 billion by 2032 with a compound annual growth rate of 17.7%. Jan Goetgeluk, Chief Executive Officer of Virtuix, noted that Europe has long been one of the most active PC gaming markets globally, making the expansion a natural next step for the company.
Often described as the "Peloton for Gamers," Omni One is a 360-degree treadmill system designed to provide fully immersive gaming experiences. The system features a specialized surface and vest-like harness that allows users to walk, run, crouch, and jump in 360 degrees while remaining in place. This technology transforms gaming from a sedentary activity into physical exercise, with users reportedly burning up to 700 calories per hour and some customers losing more than 40 pounds in four months while playing their favorite games.
Omni One leverages AI-driven 3D reconstruction techniques, including Gaussian splatting, to create photorealistic digital twins of real-world environments. This technology enables the creation of high-fidelity virtual environments in hours rather than months by capturing drone or camera footage and generating 1:1 digital replicas. The system has received recognition in the U.S., earning the Auggie Award for Best VR Interaction Product in 2025 and maintaining an average customer rating of 4.8 out of 5 stars.
European customers can now place orders for Omni One, with shipments scheduled to begin between April 13 and April 24, 2026. The expansion is supported by a regional partnership with Unbound XR, a leading European online retailer of extended reality equipment that will manage local fulfillment and logistics across the EU and UK. This international launch is part of Virtuix's broader expansion strategy, fueled by its recent IPO and capital raise that includes an $11 million investment from Chicago Venture Partners and a $50 million credit facility. The company has allocated proceeds from these capital raises to support Omni One sales and marketing efforts. With production capacity to manufacture 3,000 units monthly, Virtuix estimates potential annual revenue of $100 million from the system.
The expansion into European markets represents a strategic move for Virtuix as it seeks to capitalize on growing demand for immersive gaming experiences that combine entertainment with physical activity. The company's technology addresses two significant trends: the increasing popularity of VR gaming and consumer interest in fitness solutions integrated into daily activities. As virtual reality continues to evolve beyond traditional gaming applications, systems like Omni One demonstrate how technology can transform passive entertainment into active experiences with measurable health benefits.
